Quick answer
Choose the vinyl sticker for a rugged, classic look that holds up to daily wear, or the holographic sticker for a shimmering portrait that catches the light.
Why the finish matters for your Tali sticker
Both stickers are officially licensed by BioWare and E.A., but their finishes serve different purposes. The vinyl version uses a solid opaque material that resists scratches and fading, making it a reliable choice for laptops, water bottles, or car bumpers. The holographic finish adds a reflective, color-shifting layer that makes Tali's portrait pop, but it may show wear sooner on high-contact surfaces.
Size is nearly identical: the vinyl sticker is about 2.45 inches tall and 1.6 inches wide, while the holographic one is 2.33 inches tall and 1.5 inches wide. That small difference won't affect placement, but the holographic's glossy surface can highlight fingerprints more.
Vinyl vs. Holographic: the trade-offs
- Durability: Vinyl stickers are more resistant to scratches, moisture, and UV light. Holographic stickers have a thinner top layer that can scuff or peel over time, especially on items you handle daily.
- Visual impact: Holographic stickers shift colors in the light, giving Tali's portrait a lively, premium look. Vinyl stickers are matte and opaque, relying on the artwork itself rather than a reflective effect.
- Surface compatibility: Both stickers work on clean, smooth surfaces. Vinyl adheres well to curved or slightly textured surfaces like laptop lids. Holographic stickers show best on flat, glossy surfaces where the light can hit evenly.
